Non-ionic polyacrylamide

Non-ionic polyacrylamide (PAM) is a homopolymer of acrylamide, known for its high purity, excellent solubility, and high molecular weight. This product series consists of linear polymers with low ionization degree and high molecular weight. Its unique molecular structure provides versatile functional properties, enabling it to act as a flocculant, dispersant, thickener, binder, film-former, gel-former, and colloidal stabilizer.

Key Features

  • Flocculation performance is less affected by pH and salts
  • Superior flocculation under acidic conditions compared to HPAM
  • High molecular weight ensures strong flocculation and high efficiency

Scope Of Application

Non-ionic polyacrylamide is mainly used in:
Wastewater treatment for municipal, industrial, and textile effluents
Textile industry for sizing, finishing, and dyeing
Sand stabilization for desert control and soil erosion prevention
Its high molecular weight and neutral charge make it ideal for applications where ionic interference must be minimized.

Usage Method

Sewage Treatment Agent: It is most suitable for use as a flocculant when the sewage is acidic, especially when used in combination with inorganic flocculants, achieving the best water treatment effect.
Textile Industry: By adding other chemicals, it can be formulated into a chemical sizing agent for textile sizing.
Windbreak and Sand Fixation: When added with a cross-linking agent at a certain concentration and sprayed onto desert areas, it solidifies into a film that can prevent wind and fix sand. In arid regions, it can also be used as a soil moisturizer. Additionally, it can be applied in the construction industry, such as in construction adhesives and interior wall coatings.
