On December 8, 2022, the “Nuoer Biology Scholarship” donation ceremony at China University of Petroleum and the technology transfer project signing ceremony for Qingdao Huizhi Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd. were held at the Qingdao Huizhi office building. Dai Caili, Vice President and Dean of the School of Petroleum Engineering; Wang Xiaomei, Director of the University’s Cooperation and Development Office; Sun Maoji, Deputy Director of the Cooperation and Development Office; Wang Jiansheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Petroleum Engineering; Chen Yindun, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Petroleum Engineering; Lü Yugang, General Manager of Qingdao Huizhi Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd., Nuoer Group; and Zhang Zongyong, Manager of the International Business Division of Nuoer Biology attended the ceremony.

Shandong Nuoer Biological Technology Co., Ltd. established the “Nuoer Biology Scholarship” at the university, donating a total of 320,000 RMB. Of this, 200,000 RMB is allocated for the construction of the Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Oilfield Chemistry, and 120,000 RMB will be used to reward outstanding students, support financially disadvantaged students, and fund student innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in the School of Petroleum Engineering. Wang Xiaomei, Director of the University’s Cooperation and Development Office, and Zhang Zongyong, Manager of the International Business Division of Nuoer Biology, signed the donation agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.

Dai Caili, Vice President of the university and Dean of the School of Petroleum Engineering, accepted the donation on behalf of the university and presented a certificate of appreciation to Shandong Nuoer Biological Technology Co., Ltd. Vice President Dai expressed the university’s gratitude to Shandong Nuoer Biological Technology Co., Ltd., stating that Nuoer Biology is a company with a sense of purpose. Chairman Rong Minjie, while vigorously developing the enterprise, remains grateful and committed to giving back to society, demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility by supporting education. Chairman Rong has actively promoted cooperation between the company and China University of Petroleum, emphasizing university-enterprise collaboration and scientific innovation, establishing a deep friendship with the university. She expressed hope for even higher-level exchanges in the future to promote the high-quality development of both institutions.

Qingdao Huizhi Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd. and China University of Petroleum held a signing ceremony for a technology transfer project. Li Lin, Associate Professor from the Institute of Oilfield Chemistry, School of Petroleum Engineering, and Lü Yugang, General Manager of Qingdao Huizhi Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd., signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties.

The technology transfer project is titled “Surface-Modified Nano-Silica and Nano-Fluids for Crude Oil Recovery.” This technology product boasts excellent stability and can effectively enhance crude oil recovery rates in ultra-low permeability reservoirs, making it suitable for large-scale field application. This is Qingdao Huizhi’s first technology transfer project. Once implemented, it will fully leverage the collaborative innovation capabilities of oilfield service enterprises and petroleum research institutions, rapidly advancing the application of advanced and suitable technologies in the oil and gas field sector.

Lü Yugang expressed heartfelt gratitude to his alma mater for its nurturing and strong support for the development of Nuoer Group. He provided a detailed introduction to the development history, current production capacity, future plans, and corporate culture of Shandong Nuoer Biological Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Huizhi Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd. Wang Jiansheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Petroleum Engineering, introduced the faculty strength, research capabilities, “Double First-Class” initiative, and the status of the State Key Laboratory at the university. Both parties jointly visited the Qingdao Huizhi R&D Center Laboratory. University leaders praised Qingdao Huizhi’s experimental capabilities and standardized laboratory management. Both sides expressed a shared hope for deeper communication and collaboration in the oil and gas field sector in the future, working together to contribute to the national energy strategy.
